Clase 7 – Transport & Directions (Sala de computación)
Actividad práctica: busca tu casa en Google Maps, haz un pantallazo, pégalo en un PPT y escribe instrucciones en inglés usando el vocabulario. Todo muy guiado y con ejemplos simples.
📚 Vocabulario (usa estas palabras)
Frases-modelo (muy cortas):
- From my house to school by bus. — Desde mi casa hasta la escuela en bus.
- I get on the bus at the corner. — Me subo al bus en la esquina.
- I get off the bus at the second stop. — Me bajo en la segunda parada.
- I ride my bike from home to school. — Voy en bicicleta desde mi casa a la escuela.
🖥️ Pasos (sencillos) — Haz esto en la sala de computación
- Abre Google Maps (maps.google.com).
- Escribe el nombre de la escuela en la barra de búsqueda y pulsa Enter.
- Haz clic en "Indicaciones" y escribe tu dirección (o el barrio) como punto de partida.
- Mira la ruta que Google muestra. Ajusta si es necesario (elige bus o bike o car).
- Toma un pantallazo (screenshot) que muestre la ruta desde tu casa hasta la escuela.
- Abre PowerPoint, crea una diapositiva y pega el pantallazo.
- Escribe en la diapositiva las instrucciones en inglés usando las palabras del vocabulario. Usa frases muy cortas.
- Guarda el PPT y súbelo aquí. Rellena el formulario.
Ejemplo corto para poner en la diapositiva:
From my house to school by bus.
Get on the bus at the corner.
Get off at the school.
🎯 Instrucciones para escribir (muy simples)
Usa oraciones cortas. Mira este modelo y cámbialo con tu información:
From my house to school by bus.I get on the bus at the corner.I get off at the school.
From my house to school by bike.I ride my bike on Main Street.
No escribas oraciones largas. Usa from / to / get on / get off / by + transport.

1) Reading
Chinese New Year is a big festival in China. Families clean their houses, decorate with red, and eat dumplings. There are dragon dances and fireworks. Children get red envelopes with money!

3) Writing
In your notebook, write a short paragraph about a Country tradition. Use customs, traditions, festivals, typical food.
In Chile, we celebrate Fiestas Patrias in September. Families eat typical food like empanadas and dance cueca. It is a beautiful tradition.
4) Poster Project 🎨
Create a poster (like a PowerPoint slide) about a celebration. Use colors, images, and creative fonts. Then upload it below:
